They came. They saw that it was concrete. They wrapped it up. As you do!
In fact... now that I can see the photograph more clearly, I do believe that there is a blogger reaching in to the trolley...grrl+dog, off to cloak some more concrete. Well done to the (w)rappers! What a great job!
Talked to a young couple and the boy's mum had sent a piece in black and white Collingwood colours from Melbourne and they were posting pics back to her. Had a delightful surprise when someone asked "Are you 'Ms Textual?"-my beanie and scarf were accurate identity markers :)... It was whisperinggums, a fellow book blogger!!! Her post on the event is very generous as she herself is.
Soooooooo touchable, and as a woman of so many words, wielding them to inspire, to transfer skills, to chastise,to praise,to evaluate,to reflect, it's just wondrous how expressive wool can be...
Sooooooo, now it's time to let Loani and the wild knitting begin! With apologies to Maurice Sendak.
But perhaps there's still time for you to get (w)rapt...

Great pics too - I didn't get time to go round the sculpture garden. Great seeing some knitting home among the gum trees. I look forward to seeing your Wild Knitting projects over coming days. (Keep warm - though coming from where you come from you should know all about that!)
