Not sure I should be trying out the new Beta version of TypePad whilst battling a tea cosy episode of sheer manic proportions, so any mistakes you see here you won't be able to distinguish between mania or sheer fatigue or mere typos. Such is life.
Last to leave the workroom tonight. Sheer doggedness. Too cold to wander down to dorms and drag one's body up to dining room. Determined to complete tea cosy. Must complete tea cosy. Will complete tea cosy.
This is a cosy of mammoth persuasion defying species identification and made with much cussedness. What did I learn she asked? That I was so bloody-minded but still basically a 'good child' so I muttered sotto voce-so sotto voce- that I don't care whether I made the phrase up or not...completing the task, appreciating the challenge but confirming that I was so stubborn that I would stay on in the workroom to construct an end to it all! The question of what was art and what was craft was bandied, tossed back,picked up, squished,lay like a Tyrannosaurus Rex of elephant proportions as a fibrous subtext in the middle of the workroom.
My fingers really really really wanted to drift back, to creep back, to rush back, to...
Will knit alllllll day tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!

'Masquerade Ball Masks'-have been on a rampage through my blog decluttering and cleaning out the columns. Have moved all means of following me to the top right hand column of the blog. RSS feed subscriber there. My feed also appears in the browser bar of Mozilla so you could click it there on your browser...I think.

I am so enjoying your daily posts from your week...but can't imagine knitting ALL day. Tell me you aren't making BOTH of these pieces. I'm impressed. The perspective on the bottom one has a certain je ne sais quoi, I have to say!
