Macusani Alpacas at 'Valley Crest' on the Newell Highway to Forbes, just 10 kms out of Parkes, Central Western NSW, Australia. The blogosphere is so big as such that I thought I'd better tell you which hemisphere, in case you get all excited then realise that it'll cost heaps to drop in.
And then the wool is spun and hand-dyed into hanks for sale in the shop and cafe.
The products are amazing...for knitters, for spinners, for people who appreciate beautiful hand-crafted clothes...
And more colours...
And weaving, and felting. Check out these amazing genie slippers!
And now because I really must go and eat and prepare for a trip to Sydney tomorrow, my 'new' second-hand spinning wheel... Ettrick Folding Windwheel. I'm sooooooo in love with it and can't wait to get spinning again. I do hope it's like the proverbial riding a bike. Anyhoo, I've got the time to fiddle and re-learn. My wheel's the upright one on the table to the right. Yippeeeee!

Gosh, I've only just found this pix. So this is your WindWheel?? How exciting to simply go into a shop and see one there for sale. Things like this never happen to me.
(Actually, that's a lie. It's happened twice, come to think of it. Must blog about it one day!)
Anyway, I can't tell which version it is from here. More pix please? Especially the back plate with the maker's name and serial number etc.
